Chainlink Launches 245 On-Chain Data for US Stocks

Chainlink has launched a new on-chain data service that gives decentralized apps (dApps) continuous access to U.S. stock and ETF prices, even outside regular market hours.

The service, called 24/5 U.S. Equities Streams, provides stock market data for pre-market, regular, after-hours, and overnight sessions, allowing trading and other on-chain activities to run continuously.

Starting January 20, 2026, this update to Chainlink’s Data Streams product makes U.S. stocks available on-chain five days a week, filling the gap between traditional stock market hours and blockchain operations.

The service now lives on more than 40 blockchains and covers all major U.S. stocks and ETFs.

Bridging the Gap Between Market Hours and On-Chain Trading

Most on-chain equity solutions used to provide price updates only during regular U.S. trading hours. Outside these hours, the data could become outdated, which increased risks for derivatives, lending platforms, and synthetic asset projects.

Chainlink’s new 24/5 streams fix this by offering updates every fraction of a second during extended market sessions. The feeds include mid-prices, bid and ask prices, trading volumes, last trade prices, and indicators showing whether the market is in regular hours, pre-market, after-hours, or overnight.

Every data point is cryptographically signed, so platforms can verify its accuracy before using it. This detailed information helps DeFi platforms manage margin requirements, liquidations, and funding rates more precisely, even during off-hours when prices are still changing.

Early Adoption in Equity-Based DeFi Platforms

Several platforms have already started using the 24/5 equity streams to provide continuous stock-based products. Some key examples include:

Lighter, the second-largest perpetual futures DEX, is using the data to offer extended equity perpetuals.

BitMEX has integrated the streams for real-time risk management in its equity derivatives.

Other platforms using the service include ApeX, HelloTrade, Decibel, Monaco, Opinion Labs, and Orderly Network.

These integrations make it possible to create products like equity perpetuals, prediction markets, synthetic stocks, and lending services tied to U.S. equities.

This launch builds on Chainlink’s earlier release of real-time equity data in August 2025 and highlights the growing need for reliable, continuous stock pricing in decentralized markets.

With the U.S. equities market valued at around $80 trillion, having accurate on-chain pricing is essential for wider adoption.

Chainlink confirmed that the new data streams are available now, along with full documentation and developer tools for integrating U.S. equities into blockchain platforms.
